Khorasan

Khorasan wheat flour is always made from wheat grown in accordance with organic farming standards: never hybridised or genetically modified. This wheat contains between 20 and 40% more protein than so-called ‘soft’ wheat, and a high concentration of amino acids and unsaturated fatty acids.

The flours obtained contain less gluten, more carbohydrates, lipids and potassium, all of which are undeniable nutritional qualities. Khorasan flour is a golden yellow flour resembling fine semolina. It has a slightly sweet, nutty flavour.
